SAT prep in The Woodlands, taught by students who just took it
An 8-week course. Two hours a week. Six students to a group. Every tutor scored 1490 or higher.

The problem
What SAT prep usually costs you
A private tutor runs $1,800
Standard rate around here is $100 an hour and up. Most families quietly decide it isn't worth it.
A big class puts your kid in a room of thirty
Cheaper, but nobody notices when one student stops following. The instructor can't.
So most kids just take practice tests alone
They see the score go up and down and never find out which mistakes are costing them points.
Who we are
Run by two students, taught by five

Talin and Vance run the program: hiring the tutors, building the groups, scheduling, and materials. The people in the room teaching are students who scored 1490 or above on the digital SAT. We pay the tutors well and cap their groups at six so nobody is lecturing at a room.
We aren't the ones teaching. Talin runs HTX Cards and scored a 1470; Vance builds software and scored a 33 on the ACT. We hired the people who scored highest, capped the groups at six, and priced it so a family can try one session before committing to eight.

The program
Eight weeks, in three parts
Weeks 1-2: Where you actually stand
A full official Bluebook practice test, then we go through the score report question by question. Everything after this is built on what that test shows.
Weeks 3-6: The content
Math and reading, split across four weeks, weighted toward whatever your test said you're weakest at. Homework is matched to your starting score, not the group's.
Weeks 7-8: Timing and test day
Full-length sections under real time limits, in Bluebook, on your own laptop. Pacing is where most of the last fifty points live.
Every week: Six students, one tutor
Two hours of working problems while the tutor circulates. Nobody sits through a lecture.
